Since 2013, the Alabama Accountability Act has empowered low-income Alabama families to better their children's lives through education.
However, due to the economic impact of the pandemic, thousands of children are at risk of losing their scholarships and being forced to leave their schools.
If the program were to fail, not only would scholarship students’ educations be in jeopardy, but it would place a considerable financial strain on the private schools they attend and the public schools they would be forced to return to. Districts are receiving the aid they deserve, but students on AAA scholarships are at risk of being forgotten.
We urge Governor Ivey to consider using disaster relief funds to help cover the scholarship program or to consider funding the program directly through the state.

Honorable Governor Ivey, we implore you to use disaster relief funds to continue this valuable program in our great State of Alabama. We appreciate all you do for the citizens of our State. Please don't leave these kids behind. Thank you in advance.
We really need the scholarship program.my daughter had been on it for about 5 years and it has been a blessing to us.she been going to Ephesus Academy since pre-k and it’s a good Christian environment. I’am very comfortable with the school and staff.
My kids were bullied in public school they need to remain where they are. My son is going to his senior year and had been in private school since the 3rd grade. This scholarship matters and it will hurt not just my children but many many others.
These scholarships helps kids in need that struggles in different subjects because in public schools the teachers can't focus on one child alone whereas in private school it's less kids in class and that child have a better chance at learning.
please help save this program. Our kids need this assistance. this program has helped my family in so many ways. If our kids can not receive funding, my sons will have to return to a school that does not accomodate their disabilities. Please save our kids Scholarships.

My special needs sons will not be able to attend Churchhill Academy. This school has changed our lives. Their quality of life has improved dramatically. They are learning, enjoying school, and not being bullied. Please help us keep our scholarships.
