There was and is nothing racist about the name "Inkwell". We used it ourselves. In fact, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame vocal group "The Ink Spots" were a phenomenon in the 1940s when the OB Polar Bears first began.

It’s a beautiful piece of art. The town should commission Mr. Johnson to create other signs throughout town. Let’s rubber stamp this through folks. We are not talking about an advertisement for a business or a political candidate sign. That’s what the approval committee is intended for. Not this.
