I support the return of the signs. They are a positive expression of the rich history of Inkwell Beach and are an artistically attractive place marker

Michael - Your passion and efforts to recognize the history of Inkwell should have been celebrated by the Selectmen. Instead the Town decided to run you through an unnecessary regulatory process. Thanks Michael and good luck.

This is history. Why are so many people trying to erase everything that makes them feel uncomfortable that is a part of our history linking it to racism . My 45 years on Martha’s Vineyard, I have never known this beach referred to as Town Beach, but always as The Inkwell . I am very much in favor of Mr Johnson petition and signs informing many of it’s history that they would never know. Put the Inkwell Beach signs back. And make sure Mr Johnson ‘s petition and sign are on the June 12th agenda.

Michael Johnson is an amazing artist and I respectfully ask that you allow HIs JOY artwork to be displayed on the beach. The beach and name is a point of pride and should be shared with everyone!
I love and support these signs!
