I have been able to be a part of this facility for three years now. This is such an amazing place for everyone in Utah County and nearby counties. The Peaks Ice Arena has been able to get better and better each year and it is absurd that Utah County would pull out of an investment so magnificent. Get your head on straight Utah County.

It would be unbelievably sad to see this rink close. I have incredible memories of playing in front of jam-packed crowds and making life-long friends here. With my son just turning 5, I was looking forward to him creating hockey memories here as well, as he just started his first skating class. So on a personal level, this is extremely disheartening. Considering the kid's love of hockey, if this rink shut down, we would seriously consider moving out of Springville, maybe even to Salt Lake. But on a broader level, this is a community resource. With the existing infrastructure as high in quality as it is, it would be absolutely crazy to just shut this place down. Please, please keep this rink running!

Please don't let this happen. Our hockey community needs this rink. Colleges high schools and many families rely on this rink. All of Utah will be impacted.

My daughter has been skating at this rink since she was 5. She is now 11. We come from Mona, Utah 3-4 a week. If this rink were to close down her dreams of being a competitive skater will be extremely difficult to achieve.

We need this rink! Where else will our kids learn to skate? And the other activities that come with it. Just because you, Mr. Commissioner, don't feel it's important, doesn't mean the rest of provo - and area! - feel the same way. We need this rink. It's important to the community. Take this away from us, and you've lost more than just an ice arena. Please reconsider.

So many people all over Utah County depend on this rink. Utah County commissioners are betraying the people they are serving by closing the rink. Please keep it open!

This ice rink not only is historic (many of the world's great players played here during the 2002 Olympics), but it also provides many opportunities for wholesome and fun recreation! I, along with most of BYU students, would be devastated if funding was cut. A part of Provo would be gone.
