This arena is important to my family. My wife is allowed to get away from life struggles here and the comfort that it gives her performs miracles on our daily lives. Please do not close this ice rink.

Given that this is the only the only place to skate within reasonable distance and so many people and teams rely on it, it would be incredibly selfish to discontinue the funding for this facility.

It is absolutely foolish to close down this arena. There are so many people who rely on this arena. Also, its a freaking Olympic arena!

There are not many attractions in Utah and the ice rink is definitely a great and fun thing to do in Utah. The people are always friendly and the workers are fast to anything you need. This ice rink is great and I would hate to have it gone

Would be a shame to see this go. Seems like a shortsighted attempt to make some political capital. Has anyone made a study of how much money is spent in the county by those coming here to spend money at competitions, tournaments, University and High School hockey games?? Did the county think this through??

An iconic facility in international sports history should not disappear less than 25 years after it was built. My wife and I had our first date participating in an open skate session, and late-night hockey when I was too poor to do anything else as a newlywed kept me connected with good friends.
