The ice and coaching team at the Peaks Arena was a huge factor leading to my qualification for the US National Figure Skating Championships. So many people need this rink and since the next closest rink, for some, is an hour's drive away, a lot of dedicated figure skaters and hockey players will be robbed of this amazing opportunity to show their love for skating.

Utah County should remain a part of the Utah County Ice Sheet Authority and pay the pittance required of them each year to keep the facility open.

Just as my little boy is old enough to enjoy skating they are going to shut it down. How sad to loose a fun, athletic, family friendly place. I hope they reconsider.

We have been going to that rink for 6 years now. All three of my kids benefit from it. My oldest is in the figure skating club, my son does hockey, and my youngest is taking learn to skate and started taking private lessons. We are at the rink every single day. My kids have made life long friends and developed talents that I don't want to see go to waist. The rink is our life!!!
