Our family had enjoyed the Peaks area since our first hockey game at the 2002 Olympics. Our son developed his love for hockey playing in the youth Polar Bear URL league winning two state championships. We are regular patrons of the rink as we continue to participate in the high school hockey programs and public skating. Please continue funding this treasured ice center for the good of all citizens.

We have loved watching my nephews play hockey from the time they were small. One nephew is now on BYU hockey team and it would be a shame not only for hockey players but the public in general to close the rink down.

My kids play hockey at Seven Peaks and it would be a complete travesty to shut this great venue down. It's the only place in Utah County for hockey and its growing like crazy here. Do not stop funding this place. I'll remember this come election time city and county commissioners!

Peaks ice arena is a wonderful asset to Provo city and Utah county. Venues like the peaks ice arena are a huge asset to the community.

The Peaks Ice Arena is a vital recreation destination for Utah County residents and visitors. Professional coaches and skaters from the US and abroad have consistently commented on and marveled at, this beautiful twin rink facility. It is a multi use, year round venue that adds value and class to our community and our State. It must be used to capacity and funded so that it may continue to draw skaters in every discipline of the sport. It is the perfect arena for hockey games, figure skating competitions, skating conferences, training, soccer, golf, baseball and other sport clinics. It is a college and family destination. If used to capacity: the ice scheduled more frequently and training emphasized more intensely, the rink will not only survive but thrive and generate the worldwide attention it was created for.

I can't imagine Provo without this rink! It is by far one of the best parts of Provo. I play hockey but it is also a fun date, and a fun church activity. Utah lacks hockey and needs this rink!
