The rink serves way more Utah county residents who live outside of Provo. Shame on the commissioners for not doing some research. SL county supports 3 rinks and Davis County supports one. Support the rink Utah county.

I and many people I know love skating at this rink, both for recreation and to be more active and improve our skating abilities in whatever areas we may prefer, be it figure skating or hockey!

I have many memories associated with the Provo Peaks Arena. It would be a shame to watch one of the only rinks in Utah County disappear.

Please save this fun affordable family place! Not only is it a great family venue, it adds value to the city as well as bringing a sport that normally we wouldn't have! Many wonderful events have taken place here like charity hockey games for our men and woman in blue!

from watching Germany win the bronze medal, to spending nearly everyday here as kid and teenager, I have learned skills and lessons I will take with me throughout my life. Please don't deprive other kids of the same opportunity.

I think this will have a huge negative impact on the community. We have just started our two boys in skate lessons and plan for future hockey players. We also were planning on finding a home reasonable close to the rink since that is where we expect to spend a lot of family time throughout the years.
There have also been such big improvements on the rink that it makes no sense to cut the funding right after that was done.

Please keep funding for the hockey rink. It's a fantastic community center for year round enjoyment of hockey and skating. It's also an Olympic venue which preserves the memory of 2002 in Provo.

The Commissioners are wrong if they think this is just another local rec center. This venue is used by residents county-wide. The voters are watching so pull your heads out out and stop this nonsense.

If this hockey rink is let go, where will BYU have its hockey and skating classes? In SLC?!? I don't think so.
