I travel with two teams 14 weekends out of the year with my program. The revenue our program brings alone to Provo and Utah county Is more than $15,000.00 easily. We're just a small program of many. Bad idea.

This rink was where the 2002 Olympics were held. It now holds local college classes and is a place where 300 plus children come to be taught through the Learn To Skate program. Not only that, but also where UVU and BYU college hockey is played. Soccer games are held at the indoor turf and many people are employed in the facility. Many people come to the rink to enjoy a fun activity, and others come to practice their sport and passion and take it very seriously. This rink has been my second home for 13 years, ever since I started skating at 6. I won't let anyone take it away from me or the community!!

We love peaks and even though we live far away we make an 40 minute drive to go skating .

I am saddened to hear that this Olympic Legacy site, and my home ice for more than 10 years, is not getting the attention and funding it deserves. If the Utah County Congress pulls their funding they will shatter the dreams of countless children. Furthermore, this facility has provided a fun path to a healthy lifestyle for many college age and older adults. In a time when we need kids to be more active and to stay out of trouble, it astounds me that this facility that has for so many years provided a gateway to the healthy physical development of their youth would be shut down. It's shameful!

I grew up playing hockey and taking girls on dates there. So many memories. To this day, hockey is an outlet for me and I enjoy seeing and playing with former teammates and coaches. Please don't take that from us.

I've been playing at Peaks since I was 12, and have always enjoyed the facilities. Now that I'm 21 and play for the BYU hockey team, I can't imagine life without this rink. It is the only one in Utah County and plays a huge roll for the hockey community here.

The Peak's Arena has been especially busy ever since the Winter Olympics held several events at this arena. So many local families, visitors, and people within and out of the community visit this rink and enjoy watching the other events that take place here. Don't close it!
