Save our Hockey Rink

Provo Peaks is a staple in the community, is frequently used, and provides tons of activities.

Had many good memories there! Its a good thing to have in our valley!

I use the provo rink once a week for figure skating andam disappointed with the County's chooce to stop funding the rink. Not only is the rink used by thousands of people each year but it is a vital part of the community.

Think about the kids, not the money please!!

This rink is my life line, my escape from the everyday run of life. For it to be close or be taken down would detrimental to my life and the community around.

This facility is a valuable asset to the community, providing many recreational activities for all ages.

To pull funding for Peaks would be a HUGE mistake! This facility is such an asset to our community & provides an amazing arena where kids, youth & adults can work, play & have a higher quality of life in general. My sons & husband have enjoyed the hockey program for several years & have developed skills and friendships that have truly enhanced their lives. Let's find solutions, not simply pull funding. There's always another way! Thank you.

There is no logical reason why the rink would or should close. This doesn't even make sense.

We are Peruvians and moved to Spanish Fork Utah a year ago to offer my daughter the opportunity to skate in an awesome rink, a rink built for the olympics that has great coaches and other cool amenities. A lot of people come from different cities to skate at the Peaks Ice Arena: Nephi, Santaquin, Salem, Payson, Mapleton etc and there is so much talent on kids that it would simply be a dissaster if the rink closes. What would this kids do? The ice arena is our second home, we spend almost every afternoon after school there and sometimes even earlier in the morning. Skating has become a part of our lives and important development for our kids, closing the rink will destroy many dreams and some that have just become true and are moving towards other big qualifications for national recognition. Please don't close this amazing place which also helps keep our youth active and safe.

This rink provides many opportunities for the youth in the area to develop talents and engage in activities that will keep them off the streets and out of trouble. Please continue to support the ice rink.

This place has become my second home. I met my fiancé there and my roommates work there with me. It would be a devastating blow to see it gone.
