My daughter has been taking ice skating lessons for over a year and love to spend time at the rink. It would be devastating for our family If ice skating rink closes its door.

Defunding the ice rink is a huge loss for the community. It will prevent children from participating in activities that keep them off of the streets and out of trouble.

The Peaks Ice Arena is a great facility and well managed. It would be a shame to see the original investment made to build the rink go to waste because the county isn't willing to listen to the voice of Utah County residents.

This is a rink used by the public. It is also one used in the Olympics? By pulling funding we are letting go of a legacy. We don't want it looking like the olympic venues in other countries.

Please please please, do not close the ice rink. We have been going there for 5 years now. My girls do figure skating and I just started an adult learn to skate class a year ago. We have invested so much into their sport. Our coach lives in Payson and travels everyday to Provo because she loves ice skating. Salt Lake is too far for many of us to drive, especially when we visit the rink 3-4 times per week! Please reconsider your decision and support the Peaks Ice Arena and keep it open! So many Utah County Residents' lives will be negatively affected by this disturbing decision. It will crush the dreams of boys and girls, it will put many people out of a job. Please, Utah County needs the Peaks Ice Arena.

I love going to this rink to ice skate. I've gone there since I was a little girl. Wards go with the youth for activities, students from UVU and BYU go there on dates and it's used for so much more. I'm pretty sure it's the only one in Utah County. The Rink needs to stay.
