Please keep rink open. I played hockey there growing up and now my son is learning to skate there. Learning team sports is so important for youth development.

I always wanted to ice skate when I was a little girl, and I JUST started the class and found that I'm actually pretty good at it! Within such a short time this place has become so important to me, and it breaks my heart to see it go away! Especially when it hosts so many hockey teams and skaters! Please save this place!!!

Utah county wake up and keep our yourh ice programs, ice skating, uvu hockey, byu hockey and indoor soccer in Utah County. Quit hiding the funding and do the right thing.

When I moved to Provo back in 2010, I had three questions: Where will I live, where is the grocery store, where is the closest hockey rink? Since then, the Peaks Arena has been a weekly staple in my life. I played hockey for BYU, built friendships in the varying leagues, and finally, taught children and those with special needs important skills. In a day where there are great divisions in this country and child participation in athletics is declining, why remove a facility that encourages healthy living and teamwork? Please save our rink.

Please DON'T take away our one and only ice skating facility. Our kids don't need TV and video games. This is a popular wholesome entertainment outlet for MANY Utah County youth's and families. We are a Provo family.

My family uses the ice skating ring all the time. Especially my 11 year old daughter who loves to go in a relaxed and skate with her friends. It would be wrong to have to close down the skate ring due to cut in budget
