I am strongly opposed to the placement of the WTS bus garage and security office at the corner of 91st and College as it will directly impact our property values and quality of life. Our small neighborhood has worked for years to maintain both. Even if the surrounding foliage would remain, the increase in traffic congestion, noise, and fuel fumes would lower our property values and have the potential to be noted as a commercial/industrial influence on an appraisal. I ask that the WTS board reconsider this proposal and ask themselves if they would want this facility across the street from their home.

We do not need the added traffic on 91st street since it is already very narrow as is. We do no need the noise or pollution infiltrating our small neighborhood. How the could possibly think this is a good idea is beyond me. This is one of the few green spaces left on the north side that the council hasn’t allowed to be destroyed by over development!!

I do not want a bus terminal in our neighborhood. There is too much traffic and light pollution in our little neighborhood as it is!

Please do not locate a transit center on 91st St. it will negatively affect property values and cause too great an impact on the environment!

I am opposed to the bus garage being placed on the property at 91st and College. This green space is widely used by the community, and to raze trees and grass areas for construction and parking lot is unnecessary. This is is a neighborhood, and the streets are not designed for bus traffic, with pedestrians often walking in the roadway. The red line charging station has already increased traffic on 91st, making it difficult at times to turn from the neighborhood streets. Don’t ruin the neighborhood by more parking lot and traffic in an area not designed for it.

Why has our neighborhood become a construction zone? Not a quiet neighborhood anymore.

The proposed school bus hub and the current Red Line charging station are taking things in the wrong direction of what is needed for our neighborhood. We need to preserve this green space and find room for even more. I would love to see some of this space dedicated to native plants which would support local wildlife and pollinators. Increased traffic, increased fumes from buses and more paved areas are the opposite of what is needed to enhance quality of life in our area. I am a lifelong supporter of Washington Township schools but I find this proposal disturbing.

It seems really unnecessary to take a lovely green space that children and adults on the neighborhood and elsewhere in the city can come enjoy the setting, play soccer, go for a run, or walk the dog and turn it into a nasty refueling station for buses. We have too few areas like this in the neighborhood. Don’t destroy this park, this residential neighborhood, and the newly paved street with the extra traffic and pollution. Everyone should oppose this. There is a better solution.

This project sounds unnecessary at the proposed location. I'm sure another site can be found that would serve Wash. Twnp Schools equally well without such a significant impact on a residential area.
