Not only do we loose the green space and have increased traffic, do you realize that your taxes will go up 300-500 dollars. I am retired and on a fixed income and cannot afford this

As an adjacent property owner on Washington Blvd. West Dr., I too strongly oppose the construction of a school bus depot and storage yard in our neighborhood. And I strongly suspect that school board members would feel the same way if it was proposed for their own backyards!

This area is residential and not appropriate for this sort of use. Infrastructure cannot support the traffic it would generate.

91st Street is too narrow for school buses and the RedLine 90 that uses this road to get to Meridian St to make their loop across 96 and down College. I was behind an Indy Go bus going west from College when a school bus was east bound on 91st. They nearly had to stop to be sure their side mirrors were not going be damage by the other bus. This is ridiculous. These neighborhoods do not want or need this kind of traffic let alone the hazards of fumes and the potential for underground storage tanks leaking into our ground water.

not highest and best use for location.
Suggestion- "5 Seasons" building, located on Real Rd. along highway and better location to schools.

Opposed to having a 91st & College diesel bus depot and garage surrounded by houses, apartments, churches on two lane roads. Holly Creek flows through the south-west part of the property to First Baptist Church. Flooding is already a severe problem. Any building will make it worse. We need a park, not more air pollution and flooding.

Seems the impact on this neighborhood isn't being considered.

We absolutely need the Green space.
We have serious problems of flooding and not having place for the water to go after snow and rain is very inconsiderate! Our neighborhood creates room for children and adults to play soccer, watch wild life this quality of life is priceless!

Will create a traffic nightmare and undue congestion to an area that is already incurring snarled traffic issues with heavily traveled 2-lane College and 91st streets in

Any development of the terminal must be done somewhere ON CAMPUS which will require a change in current location of services and improvement of the traffic plan

First of all, all I heard about what moving the transportation center was that they needed the space for athletic facilities, THAT IS NOT EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES! If they want to move something off site to make space, how about moving the Football stadium the 91st and College with locker room facilities. Second, they indicated that they were leaving the other part of the soccer area facilities alone. I don't believe them. They are already "renting" it out to IndyGo for a facility to recharge the electric buses. How long before they say Welll, how about we put some other "industrial" facility there. That space is bordered on all sides by RESIDENTIAL areas. If they want, they can put something more in line with the neighborhood and move the middle school there, that would enhance the neighborhood. The soccer field and the club that runs it, ads value to College Commons, a bus depot and who knows what they try to put in there next, will decrease our property values. The bus depot belongs on property that is already commercial or industrial, NOT an area that is RESIDENTIAL. If those board members lived catty corner to the property like I do, they would not have even considered this part of the proposal, I dare say.

This small neighborhood has worked for years with a focus on protecting property values and maintaining a good quality of life for it's residents. Placing a school bus garage at the corner of 91st and College does neither. There are other options that could be exercised by the WTS district with far less impact to our neighborhood. Clearly demonstrated by the charging station for the Redline now being on the Dynamo soccer field, this issue will also entail fighting the city because clearly the city of Indianapolis and the WTS board have been working on these projects for a while without informing the people and properties that will be most impacted. It didn't happen overnight. At the WTS board meeting in December, attendees were told that the referendum proposals were conveyed to the public at large for opinions; however, I have yet to hear from anyone that was surveyed.

No, no, no!!! Terrible plan. Why does Indianapolis insist on paving over all the few green spaces we have in this city. Our neighborhood has no sidewalks, limited street lighting and now you want to put a bus terminal. You know what it’s going to do to our home values. No wonder the “quality of live” value of our city are at the bottom of the list. It should remain a park for the citizens who live in this area and beyond.

Not only will this project destroy green space & lower property values, it will create an environmental issue with diesel/fuel runoff into the feeder to Williams Creek & cause daily traffic jams in the 86th -91st and Evergreen - Meridian corridors along College Avenue.
