I can NOT believe you would think of cutting a program like this!! Please think of something else! These kids need this.

I grew up in the beautiful community of Harriston/Palmerston and am so grateful for all the memories I have from attending Norwell D.S.S. Please take a minute and sign the petition to keep this important program going for our future youth.

After such amazing performances that have recently been put on by the cast and crew, how can this even be a consideration?
What about those kids that don't thrive in other subjects in school? or sports? How can this be cancelled when you want to be inclusive to all students? Getting rid of such an integral part of our school is ludicrous. Arts are just as important as science or math or hockey...this program shouldn't even be considered when making cuts. What's next?
You want to keep kids in school and keep them interested in higher learning? Don't cut out programs like the APP program just because you don't think it's important.

100% behind this petition.
I would love to better understand the range of options that could be explored other than cancelling an invaluable program that enriches the students and the community.
Going straight to cancellation seems incredibly short-sighted and lacking empathy or genuine care for turning out - well-formed and well-rounded graduates.

Let's not have local kids lose out on opportunities that the city kids get, or the town will slowly die.

I'm very supportive of this program and the opportunities it presents for students. This course has been offered successfully for many years. It would seem shortsighted to cancel curriculum that enhances students' experiences in the arts without at least offering a viable alternative.
