I just saw Beauty and the Beast at Norwell. Not only was the talent at a proffesional level, it shone in the area of diversity of all kinds. This is the kind of thing that one by one will change the hate in the world . Please save the program for these talented students and society in general.

This is a unique program delivered in proximity to local assets (Drayton Theatre) and it can atttact students to the school since it’s not offered widely elsewhere. Grade 9 is a difficult year for students to adjust so having an exciting option for them to sign up for helps with that transition.

I wish I would of had this program when I was in grade 9. Arts is an escape for students who struggle to thrive in academic or athletic settings.

Performing Arts, including drama and music, are just as important as sports. The skills learned and used in these programs enhance development in all areas of life, including academics. The skills built in these programs go far beyond the classes. Cutting them is a very short-sighted plan.
