Please keep The APP Program. An overwhelming majority of the public agrees that the arts are a necessary part of a well-rounded education. A substantial increase in arts educational experiences has remarkable impacts on students’ academic, social, and emotional outcomes.

Why take away something that builds confidence?

This program although not interesting me is a great starter for anyone getting into theatre at Norwell, it needs to be saved

The arts are a vital part of learning and growing. They I still so much more than just a credit. It instills confidence, the importance of practice and mastering, it allows people to shine in ways they never knew they could. Taking these opportunities away is detrimental to the upcoming kids who need this offering to help them overcome barriers they have. It allows them to be expressive and intuitive and allows them to see the world through a much different lense. Please reconsider your decision to remove APP as it truly will be detrimental to those upcoming students. Kids need these classes more than ever. Thank you for your time.

Why are we always cutting education? Give youth a chance in life by giving them all tools they need.

Preserve the program, not only for the children, but also for the community that takes joy in witnessing the exceptional art that is created through hard work and dedication.

It is imperative that the program be preserved, not merely for the sake of the children who participate, but also for the wider community that derives great satisfaction from admiring the exquisite and painstakingly crafted works of art that are produced as a result of this initiative.

We need to keep this running for the kids that want to learn how to express themselves

I was very involved in preforming arts at EDSS. Wonderful memories! Truly was the highlight of my high school experience. Not to mention the many communication skills and confidence that it afforded me.

A missed opportunity to many talented young adults if this is removed, in an already area that has limited activities. We need to be bringing such activities back, not taking them away.

My daughter is very interested to come to this school for this very program. Hope we can save it.

We need to offer other outlets like art and shop programs to kids who need them.

Art programs should never be removed. So many learn so much from them.
