The Oakville by-law is outdated and should be amended to align with other nearby jurisdictions like Hamilton that allow residents to keep pot belly/mini pigs.
Pigs are clean and intelligent animals.

I believe the spirit of the bi-law was to discourage farming animals within the city. Gary is a pet, like a dog, a cat, a guineapig, a rabbit.

I live on the same street as Gary and was totally unaware of him. I did have an opportunity to meet him one day and can say that Gary loves people, is very affectionate and well-behaved. I would vote for Gary to remain with her family; now knowing she is a therapy companion I hope that this is indeed old news and she is there as I sign this! Please give us an update!

I have met Gary the pot bellied pig on several occasions. She is no different than a well behaved dog - clean, affectionate, and well behaved. Please allow her back into the Brennan family's home.

I have five children in my daycare and they are very sad you took their friend away. Gary is no different than having a dog. please bring him home
