This garden is beautiful and shows care, expense and effort and is a gift to the community. Why in the world would the Park Board want it taken down?

They have enhanced the boulevard and you want to take that away from them?
Typical Minneapolis BS.

My daughter and I always look at the decorations and landscaping - it brings her a lot of joy. Requiring this to be removed will take away from our community, not add.

Yet another reason to vote out this park board. This is NOT how I want my tax dollars spent. Leave these people alone and allow them to continue adding beauty to the neighborhood.

My observation is that others have more of a problem with all the chotchkis and not the beautiful plants. A compromise might be to (for example), remove stuffed rabbits etc after Easter is over. Put the Ferris wheel IN your yard. Decorate for the upcoming holiday and when it’s over remove it all so your fans are eagerly awaiting the next display!

I appreciate any resident who has the ability and energy to put this amount of effort into beautifying their property for the benefit of all.

C’mon park board. Here are individuals who are taking pride in their property and doing something to beautify a parcel that would likely be dying due to salt burn that the plows churn up every winter. Please set your principals aside and use some common sense.
