Jobs, environment ignored. What's more, a total waste of money when the rest of the roads are falling apart on this island. Let's reduce everywhere to a ghost town because no-one can work and raise their families here. Really? Stop this nonsense and stop the uncertainly and fear in local communities. No to the bridge.

This ferry is truly part of the character of the area. For this reason and providing employment to local folks, it should be retained

Keep the jobs and save the money for something that will benefit more than just a small group of people who want a bridge for convenience sake

As noted the ferry is a vital part of Cape Breton history and I sincerely hope people will sign the petition to keep it........

I loved using the ferries on my visit to Cape Breton last summer. Having bridges would take away from the drive out to the ferry

What an iconic feature at the route to the Cabot Trail. To hop on the ferry ⛴ and cross the Bay brings to mind the deep rooted heritage this transportation has in these small communities, and are definitely part of the draw to tourists and locals alike. Please keep the ferry!!!

I have done memories of the ferry and it is a big part of the experience when visiting Englishtown. Please keep the ferry running!
