Looks great, any work done to make our streets look better is a bonus in my book. Like you say there is always that one person who has to complain. Why don't they move if they're not happy. I hope all goes well with this petition.

Nothing wrong with the fencing, more efforts on crime and neighbourhood watch schemes perhaps.

I can’t understand why the council want to take down this fence. It’s in good condition, doesn’t interfere with the highway and protects the owners property. Leave it be and get on with sorting out the road servicing issues on the Spennells estate.

I think it is ridiculous that these people have been asked to undo all their hard work. Leave them be! Perhaps it will encourage others to take pride in their homes and gardens

WFDC are nuts - the gave me notice once because my ivy was hanging in the road and it might have impacted buses getting through - I live at the dead end of a cul de sac!! Came with a colour photo and everything. Nutters the lot of them!

I live in Linnet Rise and have no issue with this fencing, it is not an eyesore and doesn’t offend

Typical of some Spennells folk! We were always told where we could and couldnt put our wheelie bin(even though placed on top of our water meter!) , person in question lived 5 houses away!

Now looking at this situation we have a young hardworking couple who have purchased a property on our wonderful tight knit community spennells . They have upgraded there fencing making a fantastic job and enhancing the look of our lovely spennells which we all love . WHY oh why would firstly someone complain about this couple enhancing there neighbourhood making it a smarter place to live and secondly WFDC actually taking notice and acting on it ! I've seen cars parked in bad places which is an eyesore and dangerous at times . I've seen dog poo bins overflowing things you the WFDC should deal with immediately. So come on think clearly here.. let the fence stay!!!

I think Scott and Georgie have done a great job of improving the kerb appeal of their property. The council should be more interested in other properties on the estate that attract vermin due to the lack of upkeep.

I personally think it looks much neater and improves the look of the road. It’s a pity others on the estate don’t look after their properties to such a high standard. WFDC shame on you...... go pick on the ones not maintaining their properties!!
