Save Our Family Neighborhoods: Locate New Blinn Campus in Bryan

Keep Blinn campus/es in Bryan. Land was even donated for this purpose.

I am particularly concerned about the traffic and parking problems in an area without sufficient access for the traffic volume. This will have an adverse effect on the surrounding neighborhoods.

trustees should know better than to farm Blinn out to College Station after all the work we did to bring them to Bryan

With one-way access to the Science Park our Emerald Forest neighborhood will be bombarded by speedy vehicles coming down Appomattox and back up Emerald Pkwy. There is a neighborhood park and pool on Appomattox. We have a student who attends A&M and Blinn and he would drive anywhere in town for classes. So, you can truly pick a much better location with better access. Please do not do this to our neighborhoods. Your Bryan campus has several outlets to and from the campus and yet there is still major traffic. To pick this location with such limited access is not good long-term planning. Furthermore, you will create so much ill will in the community. Please listen to the taxpayers student families that you will be affecting.

Do not allow this to happen to our neighborhood.

I will ultimately severely devalue the quality of life of the citizens in the surrounding area. It will create huge traffic problem and gridlock. It does not make any sense.

There are other areas in College Station that are better suited for this project besides a residential neighborhood.

The location of Blinn here is bad idea with too many negatives to even list.

The access to this location will affect more than just the two close neighborhoods.The church will be hit the hardest.They have services that will be affected and at times just that traffic to these services slows the traffic .Rush hour in the mornings and evenings will have the cars backed up at Emerald Forest,Raintree,and the mall exits

I live by condos which is mostly rented by college students. Everyday we are dealing with kids racing up and down our straight away street. There has already been times where the cops have had to come and issue traffic tickets. Even living at the end of a street, I'm always having to watch for kids speeding down my street. I have two young children under five. My biggest fear is that they will be hit by a car the first second that I turn my back. In our neighborhood my husband has already had to deal with drunk college students tearing down signs and taking back out of anger when confronted. To my understanding the Mayor of College Station had already held meetings to address keeping college station a family safe area. This will go against everything they are trying to do if this project goes through. I pray that you will relocate the new campus. Not only for my family but the safety of others. Thank you
