Keep Blinn out of our neighborhood, the options for them in Bryan would make a better fit their campus.

I work in the emerald plaza subdivision, last thing we need is horrible driving students in that area rushing to get to class and not paying attention to what they should be doing!

My husband and I have lived in the Windwood neighborhood for 10 years now. Several years ago, the golf driving range closed, Gander Mountain went in, and the Horse Haven neighborhood was very quickly built. Majority of these houses are student occupied. Since that has happened, Windwood traffic has tripled, students are constantly speeding through our neighborhood get to their homes, and the amount of litter that is now discarded on Appomattix is disturbing. I don't feel safe to have my children ride their bike on the side walk, with me present, much less to ride on the street. We own a corner lot, and I have to pick up alcoholic containers multiple times a week. Broken beer bottles are a constant problem. If these problems are just from a small portion of students passing thru, what will become of our wonderful neighborhood when Blinn expands to a very ill suited location for a college campus. Please, don't destroy our neighborhood, find a better location.

Besides the congestive impact on the CS neighborhoods, constructing a new bulding in Bryan would allow you to design for your specific needs rather that retrofitting a building that was constructed for a different purpose.
