locating an additional Blinn campus in the middle of a highly trafficked and populated area will only intensify the traffic issues. PLEASE locate this additional campus in a location away from family neighborhoods!

We moved to this neighborhood 20 years ago to enjoy the peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. 44 years ago I was a college student, living off campus ( at another university.) I know, from personal experience, about the "Animal House" lifestyle - been there, done that. My wife and I are both now retired and we do NOT want these students invading our neighborhood, destroying the tranquility we moved here for.

One of the main reasons why we moved here is because we would be in a nice quite committee. It really makes me upset that Blinn wants to come over here. Go to Bryan!!!!!

My primary concern is the lack of traffic and parking infrastructure to manage 5000 new travelers in the immediate area. New highway ramp configurations will only increase congestion, and nothing can be done to address the gridlock we residents will face on our neighborhood surface roads.

The city of College Station originally wanted to locate a low impact technological company to occupy this property. So when Westinghouse bought it everybody believed it was in fulfillment of the original plan. Later, when Lynntech occupied it no one objected because the original intent was satisfied. Turning the area into a campus with hundreds of additional vehicles circulating around and many dozens of residences converted to student housing is not compatible with the land use plan envisioned years ago. The Blinn plan should be rejected.

I do not object to a College Station campus in general, but think that any option right off of Hwy 6 would cause major traffic problems.

In addition to everything else, the opening of Sumpter, Appomattox, and Antietam streets to thru-traffic will destroy the quality of life in Raintree Subdivision, which we have spent decades of hard work investing in. This additional campus is needed, but a sensible location could be, and should be chosen.

This is a poor business investment, with limited expansion space,spending dollars when free land is available, all campusses should be & stay in Bryan with no mayoer distance from College Station.Having a campus in College Station does not serve or save amileage problem from Bryan,there is a possibility that Col. Sta. residents will be taxed more because of the expenses invoved in road access development.With heavy traffic our neighborhoods will be adversely affected.The Bryan land offer includes future growth options and the land isfree. This just does not make any sense to purchase a limited space property and have to pay for it .It will be blocked in by the Catholic church and Ccentral Park. pleas expaand on land in Bryan Texas and not adversely affect homes, neighborhoods & tax paying citizens in College station. signed Emma Gene N. Hi, I'm actually a Blinn student. But I'm what you would call a nontraditional student. I wouldn't want a Blinn campus opening in College Station because we have enough campuses as it is for one thing and I wouldn't want to have to drive across town to go to another class. I think Blinn should stay where they're at and build around that campus if they need more buildings for classrooms. I'm myself am a life time resident to B/CS and a Mother as well. I have seen what the students do to this town and neighborhoods that used to be mostly or all residential. It's not pretty. We don't need the whole entire city to turn into this. We need to leave space for us local residents, workers, and families to live and to live in a peaceful environment that we work hard for. Not be forced to live by rent houses full of restless students. Which most of us try to stay away from. That's why we choose the areas we live in. Where there are no or almost no college student rent houses. We choose to live away from that. We choose the places we live for it to follow us or force it's way in. Nothing against students. . like I said I'm one myself. But some of us like to have the choice to live away from campus and away from restless and\or loud young college students. And most of us have a reason to choose that to. Such as having to go to bed early for work and/or having to go to bed early and get up early to take our kids to school and so the kids can get a good rest for school. Some of us every have to sleep during the day because we have to go to work at night and what is more better than living by quiet neighbors? it's not living by students that's for sure!
