I am at a loss with what's going on here. It's time to reconsider this very puzzling decision!

I have known Michelle for most of my life, and she played an integral role in my Jewish education and my connection to the community. Michelle is a loved and respected educator, and to lose her would be a tragedy for the youth of Temple Sinai. After all of the talk about "Building Our Future," to let go someone who had worked so tirelessly to educate so many children at Temple Sinai is disgraceful.

No! Michelle is a valuable member of our congregation and the staff of Temple Sinai.
I am very much in opposition to this and hope the board rescinds this decision .

without michelle, my daughter would not have become a bat mitzvah last weekend and read torah again at minyan this am
after donating thousands of dollars to the temple the last few months and being a community member for 15 years
i am disappointed that the board is treating important members of our community and employees of Temple Sinai so badly.
What is happening to our Temple Sinai family?

Michelle is an incredible and caring educator and has steered the religious education program at Sinai in a positive direction through hard work and dedication. She doesn't deserve to be fired!

We are shocked and stunned by the news of Michelle. She has always been warm and welcoming not only to all the students of religious school, but the parents as well. When my daughter was ill and could not attend classes for a few months, Michelle reached out to us and was extremely supportive to us during a difficult time. Michelle is smart, caring, kind, an all around wonderful woman. She was the true essence of what Temple Sinai had stood for in the past. If this is the direction the board is taking with Temple Sinai, I feel sadden to see our community loose not only Michelle and the wonderful staff but many families as well. I really hope the board read these comments and understand the negative impact this is having on everyone.

We are shocked by this news! Having never heard or felt anything negative regarding Michelle, we are against this move. Every time we have walked into the Temple, Michelle is there with a warm greeting. She supported our kids when we were new members and has been a very positive influence from the moment we met her. On the opposite side, Lorne has NEVER introduced himself to us, nor spoken to us, even including several days during spring Chavurah, when we were volunteering. Over the course of the last few months, Temple Sinai, feels LESS like family and MORE like business. We hope the Board reads these responses and considers the community's opinions.

Absolutely deplorable! The way this board is functioning and treating others in a house of G-d is not only despicable, but completely against our Jewish laws, beliefs, teachings and commandments. Maybe they would benefit from sitting through a class or two with Michelle!

I believe the board has made a huge mistake with the firing of Michelle Schwartz. As we have analyzed the board it appears that it has made several decisions that are not in the interest of the temple community starting with the hiring of Lorne as the Executive Director. 1

Michelle has always looked for ways to enhance the education in our religious school. I have not heard negative comments from parents about Michelle. I support Michelle's reinstatement.

50-years ago, my father started Temple Sinai with a small group of families and a few common sense guiding principles. Firing Michelle -- who's family is part of the fabric of our community -- violates those principles on multiple fronts.
This move does not represent who we are as a congregation. It represents a lack of compassion, understanding, and kindness. Moreover, it's tone deaf -- which further underscores the lack of foresight and caring for the culture of our synagogue.

Michelle is a wonderful educator and a vital part of the sinai community. I've been to many temples around the country since I left Denver and there is not one religious school that can compare. Her staff and the community obviously adore her. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your consideration.

This is not the Temple Sinai I have loved for over 40 years!! Michelle has been a wonderful director who has always cared deeply for the commitment she has given to our kids and community!! It is also very sad to have seen many wonderful staff leave, and not on their own accord!! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR WONDERFUL CARING TEMPLE!!
