This would be detrimental to the sport and a real loss for the centre

Good luck saving the courts. There will be no sports left to play at this rate, fight it all the way. Soft play areas can be set up privately for little cost at industrial units, why destroy a fantastic sports facility and try to take business from other local providers.

I used to work in Magor and once or twice a week at lunch time for several years I would go to Caldicot for a friendly game of squash. It was great to get out of office, get some exercise and great banter afterwards. Don't close it down, rather promote the sport and the courts.

Please consider the ramifications of closing the courts. Sport lost to the local community. Squash club with a proud history lost. Thriving and functioning facility gone. The benefits? Soft play which already exists in the area. Local authorities have a duty to provide facilities for tax payers. All this is doing is Lessing the choice and opportunity for the local community. I hope common sense prevails

Disgraceful, I thought the government and all the counties were all for healthy living! Squash is one of the fitness sports in the world

desperately needed courts. if we lose these our nearest court is 30+ mile round trip and Gwent squash will lose two competitive teams. plans are to replace with soft play! There is already ample soft play provision In the area #cashgrab
