A profitable pub should stay as a pub. Why demolish it when there is ample derelict land available around Wolverhampton.

a little bit of history that should be preserved.

This pub is what makes Claregate and is at its heart. The pub just needs a new image and some thought about marketing to be more profitable but please don't take it away !

As with these things, No doubt the decision has already been made by an elected someone whom doesn't live local nor do they empathise. However on deaf ears I offer my support for the Pub to stay a Pub.

I regularly use the local and would hate to see it knocked down for care homes. The area wouldn't be the same without it.

A pub full of memories, can't see why it should be knocked down when its a great place for the community and its still a profitable pub.

This has been with us since i was a kid, memories of it being the fieldhouse. It would be a great shame for the community if this pub is lost.

I am totally against the demolition of The Claregate Pub as it serves many of the local community who enjoy going there for a drink.

There is no need to close a thriving pub. There are any number of sites on which a care home could be built, you have to wonder why it has to be here and why such large amounts of money are involved.

Places like this are few and far between. Needs to be looked after, not knocked down

Don't destroy a vibrant and thriving community-centred pub for cold profit.
