Save this great community pub. All it needs is a bit of TLC from the brewery and a new menu to make it a vibrant community pub. Come on Claregate, get signing!!

I think this is disgusting! Selling a pub that has been an antique for generations of families around claregate! The pub was in a our family for years, before hands changed over. It's an iconic treasure to the local area - and many memories were made. And you wish to sell it for apartments?! Awful.

Marstons don't care about the traditional pub. Look at what happened to good community pubs like The Shoulder of Mutton. Too many pubs going the same way. Save The Claregate.

Had many good nights in The Claregate. Would be a shame to see the pub go.

more houses means more traffic and the codsall road is bad enough as it is. to many pubs are shutting down in wolverhampton, why not refurbish it and make it into a thriving family pub like it once was.

Once things like this are gone, they are gone. There is no bringing them back...
