This is NOT POLITICAL, this HUMANITARIAN. The jobs and the residents and their families are depending on this program.. Please continue to support this program.

It's disgusting that they are trying to take away these jobs, these poor folks can barely afford a living as is and they want to go and make life even harder for them. This makes me sick.

These types of programs are necessary to give our children an opportunity beyond high school

These services are vital to the lives of adults in pre-vocational workshops like Clelian Heights.

I work as the VP of Rehab Services at Progressive Workshop in Kittanning, PA. I wish the people trying to close workshops down would actually take a visit to one to see exactly how freeing and appropriate they are.

Theses are going to be needed more in the future not less. Why are we giving the children training until age 18 if they have no where to use it. Lease keep this open.

Let's keep all options on the table to ensure that no one with I/DD ends up sitting at home with no job, no day program and no friends.

Clelian Heights offers a great service to the community as well as the adults who work there.

Save our Special Needs Workshop Programs. Talk to our Special Needs. Come to Clelian and see how happy they are. They are safe and they are loved. You expect them to go out in the community and work and you feel they will be safe. Evidentially, you do not listen to the local news in the community. Greensburg 6. Think about it. Would you want your children out trying to make friends.! The Final Rule should be called "The Special Needs Final Rule! Not your Final Rule!!!

People with disabilities and their families need to have a choice of services they wish to participate in. Some do not wish to be employed in the community therefore need a place to go where they feel safe and have support when they go into the community. The first question many people are asked is "what do you do". If this is taken away they will not have a place to go and instead be stuck at home while caregivers work. Some people with disabilities need people to advocate for them so they can continue to receive the supports they love and enjoy. People with disabilities have rights. Don't take this away. Imagine if your job or favorite place was going away or if you didn't have a choice. How would this make you feel?

By taking away places such as Clelian Heights you are no longer giving folks a choice and if CHOICE is one of the everyday lives principles then you are all creating a violation of these individuals rights, which in my world is wrong. We have always been taught that violating rights is a reportable incident so I guess you all deserve to have this in your record. Shame on you DNR for backing this up. These places you are trying to take away give the individuals a choice and also keep them safe from being violated by horrible rude people. Many flourish in this setting, leave them alone!!!

An example again, of government wanting to take complete control. These people are a part of our country, too, and these workshops give them the independence they need. They contribute to our economy the same as you and I. Like I said, the government wants to control every aspect of our lives, from birth to death and in my opinion they have their hand in many deaths........population control! We must not let the government take away our, the citizen's(legal) rights!
