Patients over profits - this decision is shameful during a pandemic.

I am a maternal fetal medicine physician at St Luke’s across town and when I learned of this, I changed my referral pattern to Overland Park

This makes zero sense especially in the midst of a pandemic when expertise in invaluable. Is this cost-cutting by corporate healthcare? Profits over patients? MBAs over MDs?

Quality of care should be your first priority...why even think of relieving qualified physicians for far inferior training of midlevels! If money is your only motive...God help the children!

My son has also spent time in your ORs and PICU, as a physician I want the most experienced team of DOCTORS working on my precious child

Experience counts. Culling your experienced physicians for profit will not end well for the children you are supposed to care for.

One of many examples of shameful and greed-driven practices by “business administrators” who fleece their own pockets at the expense of self less physicians and nurses.

Just demonstrates what is actually valued in medicine today...money. Gross.

Fellowship trained physicians and experience are crucial to excellent patient care. Anything less is negligent.

Saving money shouldn’t come at the expense of patient care.

This is yet another shameless attempt By administrators to disrupt the patient-doctor relationship for financial gain. Anesthesiologists and intensivists care for the sickest, most vulnerable patients. Patients and families need to demand better.
