This is not right.. more than likely my daughter will need open heart surgery next year.. at this point I’m probably going to take my daughter to a different children’s hospital.

My child receives great care at CMH by his specialty team. These doctors are necessary, the experience they hold is necessary.

I know this is hard times for hospitals but you MUST stick to your principles of providing great care. The only way to have exemplary care in the future is to have exemplary care now. Teaching hospitals are crucial.

This is just abhorrent!! Our kids lives matter & they deserve the BEST care possible, not the most cost-effective care!

As a former CMH Pediatric Residency Graduate, the teaching from these amazing PICU attendings was invaluable. They not only provide incredible teaching for medical trainees, but are amazing clinicians. I feel honored to have worked with them. Please do not let them go!

I have two grandkids with heart issues in Carthage that need children’s Mercy. It would be devastating to lose these services.

Recent CMH peds residency graduate, this PICU staff is vital to the education of medical trainees at Children’s Mercy and trainees will not be well prepared as graduates if they are not allowed the opportunity to work with these physician. They have an incredible knowledge base, are excellent medical teachers and also have the distinct ability to teach confidence in practice.

Please be fair with these providers and don’t simply look for the least expensive option, which often is deficient in experience.
