The heart❤️ of Children’s Mercy lies in it’s compassionate, experienced, dedicated physicians ! Of course, I’m talking about AAKC’s anesthesiologist and PICU ! Take them away and you will be left with a mediocre hospital that will lose it’s luster!! These professionals will move on to establish greatness at your competitors and leave it’s existing patients lacking in the care that they have become accustomed to. Please think about the grave situation that you are about to create!!!

Medical administration needs to STOP putting profit and contracts above quality of physicians and care. The lives of many children are at risk with decisions like this.

My daughter has had 22 procedures at CMH. She is complex and requires medical care from people capable and confident in caring for her.

My daughter Charly and my family has spent many of days in the hospital. Between the surgeries and illnesses. Keep these vital staff members.

You are making a grave mistake. As a pediatric anesthesiologist in another state and one who knows personally some of the pediatric anesthesiologists you will be kicking out - I assure you, you are losing very high quality patient care. Pediatric anesthesia is a small community and by doing what you are doing I fear you will have a very hard time recruiting high quality pediatric anesthesiologists.
