Every time a CMO or CEO changes physicians being eliminated with no reason is not budget cut. You lose their passion, experience and the reason why you survive.

Please reconsider any actions that would in any way lessen the level of care that is so important to the families that rely and trust in your hospital.

Children's has long been a leading example of how an experienced team should work together. Why destroy that culture and endanger the patients while losing reputation, revenue, & rankings?

Performance and experience count. As a a former head nurse of that picu (81-82) I agree with an earlier comment that this group helped bring cmh and the PICU to where it is today.

It’s easier to find a competent person that can be president/CEO than replace all the experienced physicians making sure the community’s children get the appropriate care. This is healthcare becoming a business lining up pockets of CEO. The community will suffer with this mismanagement and should rally against this decision.

The PICU Team at CM is so amazing. They have became part of our family. They did so much to help our daughter Leah. She gained her wings a year ago. They helped to give us more time with her. They NEVER gave up. They are so talented and so needed. ❤️

The only reason yo make a PICU change of leadership in one of America’s top children’s hospitals would be for medical incompetency. That does not appear to be the case here. I have watched Children’s Mercy go from an OK facility to a great one over the last 40 years. Don’t blow it now.
