Please save the work of these highly skilled people. These are dire times we live in. These children need the highest level of care possible.

If CMH is all about caring for children then this would not take place. If it happens- you are just big Corp. like all the rest.

Keep physician led care! Shame on you to risk patients lives and well being to save money with mid level care that have online degrees and no experience.

These providers have and continue to give their all to CMH. They are committed to this community as are their families. This is certainly not just a job to them. Their stake in the CM system is high and what a loss this would be for all concerned.

What makes Children's Mercy the hospital that it now is? The staff makes it the respectable facility that it is; especially the Critical Care and Anesthesia Department. They are your most valuable asset. Experience and dedication is priceless. Please preserve your great reputation. We need this team.

I ask one question of Children's Mercy Hospital of KC, Mo. Management Team and Board of Director. Why are you so hell bent on destroying the most remarkable innovative and patient/family oriented PICU Team ? As an employee Saint Luke's Health Health System Plaza location I have first hand experience with your Main hospital location and PICU Team. They have saved the lives of our new born babies, toddlers, youth and teens. They are pros in their specialty and hiring and training only the best for your facility. You have nothing to gain by losing them to other states that value their worth. Do you really feel that our region does not deserve the best? Then maybe we need a Midwest CEO and Board that reflects the needs of our region. Get off your high horse young man and appreciate what we have. You know nothing or care about what your hospital has done for this region and our shared relationships. I suspect you won't be around for long. So don't mess with your essential team. Work with them or go back where you came from. They are one of your most progressive specialty teams. For fifty years I have watched and benefitted from their ability to continually meet and exceed anyone's expectation! Dear CEO and Board members put your egos' aside and work with the PICU team that you and our community deserve

My daughter Elaina, was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive Leukemia at 5 months old. We flew from Wichita, KS to Children's Mercy with a very extreme low chance of surviving the flight, but we knew that her best chance of surviving was to get to your hospital. Your PICU team and physicians were the first people that we greeted at the hospital. My daughter was unconscious from blood loss, I had no idea what was going on. I was in complete utter shock. Your PICU team and physicians made me feel comfortable and allowed me to trust them 100%. Every time we end up in the PICU for a life threatening infection, I feel like we are in the right place. Without the amazing various of teams at Children's Mercy, my daughter would not be here today. She is surviving a 0% prognosis from that day.

This is not the Time or the Place to make this Change in my opinion as this is was of the best places to be when you have a sick child and I’m not sure by making this change that it will stay this way and not take atleast a step in the wrong direction as I have seen them in action and total control in the worst situations imaginable Ofer the last 11 years and I will be very disappointed with this change.

Our grandson, who is 17 now, would probably not be here, if not for this team, please reconsider, as experienced is better than young intelligent Dr.

The shared experience, care, compassion of the doctors at Children’s Mercy is a source of pride as a resident of the area. When my child was very sick when she was young, after exhausting other Dr’s, we turned to Children’s Mercy, as many families do and should be able have the same.

Don't ruin a great reputation based on money. It's in all the childrens' best interest to keep your experienced doctors if for nothing more than to teach those starting out

My signature is for all these babies that are in a life and death situation and deserve only the best. The staff that I have gotten to know there are THE BEST! No amount of money matters when it comes to a child’s peace of mind in a life or death situation.
