Save local call centres to have a locally effective service that is in fact more cost efficient due to serious delays and mistakes being avoided.

If it's not broke don't fix it!! We had one fatal incident so far, when the cuts really bite! What then!!

Our emergency services need to be local. How many disasters do we need. Ambulance service not able to find the correct Blackhillock, years ago - long before the accident near Stirling. Those in power choose not to learn from these lessons

Glasgow based operators are not going to know the area sufficiently to know local names for places or landmarks in places that don't have names on maps, etc.

This is such an important part of policing infrastructure in the North East, let us not suffer yet more centralisation sapping resources from our area!

Centralising control room to Glasgow is just stupidity and how many more mistakes need to be made to prove it

The most ridiculous and life endangering thing to occur with Police Scotland. This is nothing short of a catastrophe waiting to happen Oh forgot it already has.

This is a vital service to the people of Grampian. How can calls being answered in Glasgow or Edinburgh provide a better service? This is simply a cost cutting measure to address the decreasing police budget and the ring fenced officer numbers.

We cannot afford to let these call centres be closed for the benefit of the Scottish inhabitants.
