I think Scottish Government need to think about this again, saving money from the Police and Fire Services budgets will cost lives .They should be investing in these services to save lives.

As an ex police staff employee, I feel it is a necessity to have the control room and service centres local. If they are sent to a national Centre the public is at risk as you will be speaking with someone who's unaware of the area or the local circumstances, which is ultimately putting life's in danger.

It would be a foolish move to close the Aberdeen and Inverness centres as all local knowledge would be lost.

The current plans set out by Police Scotland and the Scottish Government have been ill thought through and lack common sense. Peoples lives are at stake if the proposed re-structuring proceeds as planned.

Another step in the Scottish Government's centralising agenda.

In the Highlands, we have many identical place names. Can you imagine trying to explain, in a life threatening situation, to someone in the Central Belt, exactly which Balblair you need the Police to attend? Our Emergency Control Room staff have a vast amount of local knowledge, which saves lives. Do not loose this valuable service.

If enough people oppose these unwanted closures, then Police Scotland will have to think again.

Closing the control room and service centre in Aberdeen will put lives at risk - local knowledge is vital for local policing.

This has been ill thought out and led to the 'Strathclydeifcation' of our local police services. Not all of Scotland is like Glasgow!
