Must stay open for the sake of all in highlands and islands. Local knowledge is essential. Post codes in remote areas are next to useless and can cover a wide area, unlike towns and cities where they can identify property to within yards.

Local Knowledge is the key to keeping our areas safe.. closing these centres, will increase vulnerabilities and in some cases unnecessary deaths. Its already happened in the central belt area, Don't let this happen in the Northeast... IF Police Scotland go ahead... it will be disastrous for the staff and for our corner of Scotland.

Closing down the Aberdeen branch would have devastating effects on Aberdeen and surrounding areas. Having a team of staff that have knowledge and understanding of local areas and people can be critical in moments of emergency. I would hate to think I'd be calling the police and speaking to someone hundreds of miles away with no local knowledge and who may not understand my acsent. KEEP ABERDEEN SERVICE CENTRE OPEN

Local knowledge is vital, especially in country areas.
I have experience of centralisation with the water board. I reported a collapsed drain outside my house and had to contact their control room in the central belt. What followed was comical in that the wrong street was closed and when I told the workers they were on the wrong street they said they used Google to locate the street. I checked Google and found the street names where the incident was had the wrong name. If the police use Google then the same problem could arise. Local knowledge would have prevented this fiasco.
