To avoid risking lives we truly need local call centres as they alone know the area, and the dialects of the North of Scotland.

We need a local call centre For 999 calls as rural North-East Scotland is very difficult for outsiders to find their way around. Local names are repeated and GPS doesn't always work up farm tracks!!

calls will go to one of 3 central belt call centres, then be passed back to a control room in Dundee if officers need to be dispatched to somewhere in rural Scotland - how can Police Scotland not see that more tragedies will stem from this.
