I can't believe they are going ahead with this centralisation of another service in Scotland. By introducing this they are going put in another level of contact within the system which will surely lead to errors eventually and more importantly it will cost lives!

Please let common sense, not money, dictate policing policy. Foolish. short-sighted decisions are more costly in the end.

Our essential services in Rural Areas need local knowledge, Many towns and villages have names which sound nothing like their spellings and postcodes can often only get you within 1/2 a mile or so.

Local knowledge saves lives, the service should not be put into one cental point. Creating police scotland has already shown that it's not effective to take things away from local areas who are doing a wonderful job .

This is just another example of Scottish Government wanting to centralise and control us like dictators. It does not make any sense . How many more lives will be lost because of this
