This is heartbreaking to see such another great place of natural beauty being ruined . There is already enough redevelopment in the countryside. Leave this alone for everyone to continue enjoying iti.

This is appalling. Hampshire is a predominantly rural county - does it really have a Council that can't tell the difference between a bridleway and a motorway? Please stop the vandalism before it goes any further!

It's a waste of money for something that didn't need to be done.

As a user since the 60's when it was first accessible (and before!) both ridden and walking - I would like to see the access maintained but not thoroughly open access - there's still something magical about breaking through the undergrowth to discover the old railway.... and the old stations and sidings!

When will NPA's ever learn to listen to the communities that actually live in these areas, they have the best local knowledge and, more importantly know how to protect them.

Please don't ruin one of the few bridleways we have. There aren't enough as it is - unless the 'fair' 'access for all' concept extends to including horses on footpaths and cycle paths - if it's considered so safe and acceptable for everyone to share the bridleways it should also be safe and acceptable for everyone to share the footpaths

Shame they did not think of asking the users first. Money should have been given to the highways agency to repair the lanes in the Meon Valley instead....

The railway needs to change with the times more access is required to cater for the impact horses bikes and ramblers put on it a muddy path to cater for this is not the answer. As for the wild life more species will thrive from the added light and most of the trees will coppice readily the seed bank will probably be enhanced so where's the problem. ? Think before you object and what your agenda is for
