I routinely use the railway and foirmly believe the new surface being proposed will ruin the use of the facility for the majority of users.

Bridleways have never been so precious as our raods have got much more and much raster traffic on them. We can ride our old ponies well into our (and the pony's) old age - so please protect these extremely important ancient routes for ALL our future generations

Please keep this once lovely trail as it was. Natural and beautiful not man made! It's been spoil. what about barefoot horses that can no longer use it. Have you considered them? Have you considered that by opening up the trail there will be trotters, potentially quad bikes and off road motorbikes making this a potentially dangerous trail now. Leave it alone!

this is primarily a bridleway and as such a hard eough surface is not enjoyed by horses

The railway line is our only off road horse riding route , the type of surface that is currently down means we can no longer canter and unshod horses become foot sore . Does the title bridleway not have any significance

Consult the community and users, please, and give horses safe off-road space, for everyone's health and enjoyment of the area.

I love the Meon Valley Trail and I want to continue to see walkers, cyclists, and horse riders use it, so it is vital and change of surface is discussed and agreed with all users so we find a happy medium that suits everyone. History has shown that consultong with the people is almost always the best way and imposing from above rately works. So I'm not saying don't improve it, I want lots of people to enjoy it, but you must get the surface right, there is bound to be a happy compromise, just ask please.

Just let the horses and riders enjoy it as it is. Stop messing with things that don't need it.

please don't spoil our railway line which my family have enjoyed for 30 odd years by walking, cycling, and on pony/ horse back! Us country folk aren't offended by a nice muddy odd patch it leads to much fun especially on a mountain bike and on horse back! nothing better than returning home with a mud splattered face! then u knew u had fun!
