people expect mud and trees in the countryside, not a hard surface. What a waste of money!!!!!

putting agregates as a surface will ruin this beautiful walk, widening access points will make it easier for cars to get on it and it will then get turned into nothing short of a racetrack. There are few enough bridleways in this area without having this one taken away so that people don't get their feet muddy

The railway line has been a designated bridleway for decades surely by using aggregates to surface it they are changing the use as this surface is not appropriate for horse riders who can only use bridleways that are in short supply and if this goes ahead we will loose the right to ride along it as it then becomes a (restricted byway) for otherpeople to enjoy as well, we all need to stick together on this before we loose it for good.

Horse Riders require safe places to ride out, unfortunately they are becoming less and less available through development and in some cases neglect. the more we have to use roads the more likely of a rise in accidents.

please don't ruin the railway line as we know it, wasting money we love it as it is. There have been no new bridle paths open locally for over 20 years and you take a perfectly good one and take it of its charm.

Please do not ruin a great source of natural beauty in the area. This will not make it more popular, in fact I believe it will do the complete opposite. Do not ruin the railway line.

I am unhappy with the proposed changes to our beautiful railway line it is a local treasure that should be unchanged!

Bridleways are essential for giving riders some safe, off road riding. They are precious as there are so few.

In the 16 years i have been using the old railway line ,it saddens me as no consultations has taken place with horse riders cyclists and walkers we have all used this for years, most of the time evereybody is respect full of each other ,this surface is goindg to ruin the whole feel of the place and also will be alot more dangerous as you are going to be giving access to people of the certain types of people with carts to run there horses up the railway , they dont have the respect that other people do on the line , also with the surface you will be making it easier for motorised vehicles to get on there more easily as well , us horse riders always seem to get the worst deal , people dont want us on the roads now they dont want us on the safe railway line , please save our railway surface so we can carry on enjoying th railway line and all its wildlife ..
