I ride down this bridle way and walk my dogs. It has been a lovely natural route and I am sad to see what is happening. to

It was fine just as it was, definitely no need for a firmer surface. There are alot of 4X4 off roaders in the area, and if they can get in through these new proposed gaps, then that is an accident waiting to happen!

We love the Meon Valley railway line for family cycle rides. The rolled stone surface looks inappropriate and bumpy for bikes.

this trail is now ruined. walking/ cycling/ riding should involve being in places of beauty, observing nature and getting slightly muddy. with the new upgrade this is not possible. the top layer is dangerous and not suitable for any uses. I may as well ride/ cycle or walk on the roads. money could have been spent on completing the trail at Fareham end so the whole trail could be used. such a shame users were not fully informed.

I spent many happy hours riding down the railway line, sometimes with my husband walking with me. Unfortunately I would no longer be able to ride there due to the surface as my horse has health issues. I am heartbroken to see what has happened to a beloved bridleway

It's worked perfectly fine for the last 20 or so years that my family have used it. Why change it.

Let's keep it in a natural state.
