This has been an appaing waste of tax payers money and should be investigated thoroughly for not only its lack of success but also its total lack of transarency and consultation! Disgusting

Would just like to say i live near this line and since the work have not had any bats visit my garden. I could typically pick up at least 6 with my bat detector nightly and now none !! Not too worried about the surface more worried about the bat roosting trees that were removed. Terrible ... something that carries a massive fine as well! Perhaps something that could be used in this battle?

I have had the pleasure of using the old railway line for over 40 years from Fareham to Warnford. I feel very sad that the new work and surface has spoilt a unique wildlife haven and the enjoyment of all that use this.

Totally disgusted with the destruction of the bridleway terrible surface widened it and ruined a true unspoilt track making it an urban monstrosity

Ride my horse on the railway yesterday and so hard for her feet because if the stones. Also bike riders finding it very bumpy, not liking it either. What a shame it has been been spoilt.

I recently walked part of this route with my daughters and grandsons and I couldn't believe what a mess had been made of the place.

a complete mess - this once beautiful bridleway looks dreadful. What makes it worse is that I am sure it cost a lot of money to make it look this bad!
