Please fine the businesses that do not have bearproof cans. Also fine (a hefty fine) the people who feed them. I saw a post on fb today a bear was getting in a car in Gatlinburg and they were filming it saying feed it something throw some food out there!!!! SO WRONG!!! THEY ARE KILLING OUR BEARS! It is not enough for them to just read the signs evidently! Stop feeding the Bears!!!

Also, please propose expanding the bear proof garbage container area /zone! It is not nearly large enough for the area surrounding Gatlinburg!

I’m a yearly visitor and have been for years. I have family in the area. Please help protect the bears, the other wildlife, and the community by enforcing or creating laws and regulations to require bear safe garbage cans and fine people who feed the bears and other wildlife and who get too close to the animals on purpose.

It makes me sick to hear these poor bear are being killed because people can't use common sense and stay at a safe distance.
