Save Our 1914 Clovis Carnegie Library

Save the building. History is worth preserving for future generations to enjoy.

I used this library a lot as a child and have wonderful memoirs of visiting the stacks.

Visited the Peace Palace in The Hague, established with a grant from Carnegie, and was impressed by his commitment to philantrophy. Hope we can keep this example in Clovis to inspire others.

This is how we preserve history and Old Town Clovis. Many people spent time in this library learning, contemplating, reading and expanding their world.

Why Do They Want To Tear It Down And Demolish It? Is It Not Strong , Sturdy, And Sound? If It Is, Then They Need To Leave It The Hell Alone, #LeaveOurHometownHistoryAlone

I use Togo there to the library several times during my life in Clovis. I love that old building and it is a look into the history of Clovis.

I spent many wonderful childhood days at the Carnegie library. What a gift it was.

I spent many days of my childhood there. Please don’t destroy our history.

I love to go in there when I was a child. I loved exploring in the basement, and I’m sure I checked out all of the Nancy Drew books that were available
