Save Our 1914 Clovis Carnegie Library

Spent many hours there and of course slid down to the sidewalk.

Please do not destroy another old building in Clovis. Born and raised there. Went to that library many times as a child.

I grew up at Bullard at Blackstone. The closet library was the Clovis Library on Polasky. history of the library is part of my history. Please, to those of you who have not known the town of Clovis for 74 years as I have, think back to the towns where you grew up and keep our old Library building on Polasky St. Save the library

Many, many great memories of spending time there as a youngster in the 50’s and early 60’s.

This represents the history of Clovis . Please let people keep their memories and have something to refer to vs tearing everything down to build something that won't last .

I spent many hours at that library going thru all those card index drawers looking for books I needed for book reports until my dad bought our family our own encyclopedias. After that I continued to go and check out books just for fun things to read. Please don’t destroy this beautiful building.
