Just last week, state legislators introduced Bill S3607. This legislation wouldsuspend the phase-in of the $15 minimum wage law, a law that was passed less than a year ago.

This cannot happen.

After years of fighting for a livable minimum wage, workers in New Jersey are being told they may have to wait EVEN longer to earn the income that they were promised - an income that allows them to pay rent, put food on the table, and care for their families.

And now this legislation, hard-fought by the very same workers who would benefit from it, could be taken away.

We know you're tired and frustrated, but you need to raise your voice and fight to protect the wage raises you fought so hard for. DEMAND that state legislators continue the implementation of minimum wage increasesthrough 2020!

La semana pasada, los legisladores estatales presentaron el proyecto de ley S3607. Esta legislación permite la suspensión de la incorporación gradual a la ley de salario mínimo de $15 aprobada hace menos de un año.
