I actually used one lunch to make up quizzes and tests as well as get help from my teachers. Why does everyone have to suffer the consequences just because a few people decide to be immature? Why not just take away their one lunch privileges instead of punishing everyone? And how were we supposed to know we were doing something wrong if we were never told by administration via the announcements or our teachers’ emails?

You take away from us on a regular basis, no matter how big or small the problem is. Why are we not trying any disciplinary actions BEFORE taking away something that has FINALLY given depressed and antisocial students a chance to surround themselves with people that make them happy, as well has provide free-time for students to catch up on assignments for any class. It is just about the only stress free 50 minuets students at landstown high get. STOP DOING THIS TO US.

I say we should keep one lunch. As a fellow student with no study block, one lunch has deeply helped me catch up on work when I miss a day, and it gets the help I need in a class. Also a student who works right after school one lunch has really help me balance clubs, sca, and work.

I was starting to actually enjoy school because of one lunch. I could see my friends that I don’t get to see during school and I could do classwork during lunch. It isn’t fair to punish the whole population of students just because a small portion of them cannot behave correctly. The ones that should be punished are those who cannot be mature and handle one lunch, not the people that actually behave and follow the rules.
