This service is so important to this small community, why should we be deprived of it because of a language barrier. We carry this too far sometimes.

We need this site her in Thessalon. It is a town with a lot of seniors who cannot or shouldn't have to travel long distance to do business such as this. So what if she can't speak French ... I can't either!!!

As a French Canadian myself, I would rather have a service in English than none at all.

If a person requires service in French, they can go to Sault Ste.Marie or Blind River but do not punish everybody for the off chance someone needs service in French

This idea of all service centers being able to provide patrons with french and english is just the start, what's next mandarin, hindu, italian etc. Take a look at the population the center is servicing and staff according to the MAJORITY not the minority!! Nancy, has stated that she has never not been able to service a patron.. Listen to her, she is the one there day in and day out.

This is a vital service for this and surrounding rural communities. If this office closes it means the nearest office is located 35 minutes to the East and 60 minutes to the West. Being bi-lingual is not a changed requirement, but one that has been worked out for this office by availing themselves of assistance via phone to one of the closest offices in the area. In speaking to Mrs. Seabrook, she tells me that in the years she has been operating, there has NOT been one instance where she was unable to help a patron. Please continue to allow Nancy to keep this vital service with continued assistance from another office IF and WHEN it may be needed.

We do not need a French-speaking person at this Thessalon Service Ontario! Keep this open for the advantage of our local population!
